About Harvest Time Juvenile Outreach

Our Story

We are a Non-Profit 501(c)3 faith-based juvenile youth outreach ministry that is focused on bringing the light of God’s Word into the dark places where troubled kids are incarcerated, otherwise isolated, or in need. We reach out to those who are forgotten. Our ministry is rooted in the fact that every youth is worth saving, and should be given a second chance if they are willing to make that change. We work with "At Risk Youth", whether they are incarcerated or free. Our goal is to help them in any way that is possible with the means that we have. 

 

Nearly 50 years, we have seen God move mightily through our Christian volunteers, and our efforts have been rewarded by thousands of young people accepting Jesus Christ as their Savior! All of our services are offered 100% free of charge. Our dedicated volunteer's minister to these youths before, during, and even after incarceration with our mentorship program. 

In addition to our work in the facilities where "At Risk Youth" are, we also travel to meet with pastors, potential volunteers, churches and various facilities in the state. Along with volunteers, we are always looking for prayer partners, financial support for our special needs, and churches interested in hearing us speak. We use whatever means or resources within our means to help turn around a troubled youth and put him or her on the right path! 

Our Mission

• To provide a positive role model.
• To try to find a bible based church for them to attend when released.
• To meet with and speak to parents when possible.
• To build hope and self confidence.
• To witness, and to lead these kids to Jesus through testimony, music, and any other personal talents, in the Word of God.
• To mentor, build life skills, assist in building family ties, Spiritual Guidance, and to help give a fresh new start through Jesus Christ.
• Finally, to help these youth in any way that we are able to. We will use what ever resources that we can to help these troubled kids.

Our Services

Our services are totally FREE!!

• We offer at home visits to meet with parent child-children.
• We offer mentoring.
• I will help deal with some of the emotional needs.
• We are here to help and assist with troubled / At risk youth any way that we can.
• We can also help them find employment
• If they quit school we can help them in getting a GED.
